Uni-Norths Owls would like to congratulate these players on their milestone achievements today. Welcome to the ’50’ club Andrew Whittle (1st Grade Games), Ethan O’Keefe & Georgia Comes (1st Grade Games).

Briiiiickkk – one of the most loveable characters uni-norths has seen in the past 7 years I’ve been involved with the club, and boy do I love him!
He’s been a mainstay in first grade since he moved to the club in 2020 and I’ve shared some of my favourite moments on and off the field with him. After a terrible ankle injury in 2022 and a long road to recovery it’s been great to see him get back to form with his punchy carries and dominant scrums.
You do so much for the club mate and I hope today becomes one you’ll look back fondly on. All the best for your 50th, you deserve it 🫶🏼

Will Sankey

Ethan O’Keefe “beef” congratulations on 50 games mate well done, I have had the privilege of knowing beef a long time going back to year 6 at Marist, he has always been one of my best mates. In U18 at Marist Beef once caught the ball of the kickoff and ran 60m stepping the full back to score under the sticks (i think he surprised himself). He is well respected by many at the club for his playing ability but more importantly the person he is, he is one of the best mates you could ask for. We spoke and made the decision to join Owls together at the end of 2020 when we were finishing up school and haven’t looked back since. Out of his 50 games I believe 43 of them are colts games which makes him the most capped colt since 2004 and was almost the first player to hit 50 caps in Colts alone.
The last two years Beef has really come into his own playing some unreal footy winning most improved player for the club last year.
congratulations mate I won’t be able to join you on the field but I’ll be there cheering you on, go out there and smash it!!

Congratulations to Georgia (Baby G) Combes on 50 club games today!
Georgia joined the club in 2019 as a ballerina from Bowral who has proved that shouldn’t be under estimated on the rugby field. Her ability to tackle people three times her size, her vivacious energy and commitment to all things owls has made her a fantastic asset to the club since day one!
Georgia has graced us on the field in both women’s X’s and XV’s, as well as numerous 7s comps over the years and she epitomises the values of a true team player. G is always identifiable by her luscious long hair and ribbons so make sure you look out for this superstar on the field today!
Congrats on 50 games G, so proud of you! Hope you can get those dancing feet out and celebrate a win tonight 💕
