Uni-Norths Owls would like to congratulate these players on their milestone achievements today. Welcome to the ’50’ club Jess Grant (1st Grade Games) & Finn Frewan (Club Games).

Dear Jessie entered owls as a quiet and unassuming player. No one could have predicted how wild and unhinged she is – on and off the field. Her ability to down a bottle of rosé is almost as impressive as her ability to make hits and bury the opposition. We are so proud (and fearful) of Jess every time she gets on the paddock and we are even prouder for how well she recovers after having her head in a bin on a night out.
Whether she’s playing second row, centre back, flanker or hooker, she’s the player you can always count on to get the job done.
Happy 50th Jess Grant. We are so excited to see you run out today but we are most excited to celebrate with you later tonight with lots of vodka sodas (and hear you confess how much you love us)

The man, the myth, the legend. Finn “Radar boot” Frewen has finally notched up 50 games. Finn’s path to 50 has been a journey characterised by resilience, grit and some of the most mediocre chat anyone has ever heard.
Finno joined the club in 2020 and quickly established himself as a quick-witted and quick-footed aerial threat that was willing to put in the hard work and give as good as he gets. His stellar performances with the boot have steered many teams to victory and his gamesmanship and knowledge of the rules have left many referees in awe.
Finn has worked tirelessly to come back from injury. He’s a leader in any team and will always welcome new faces. You can always count on him to have your back as long as it doesn’t involve backing up for silly Sunday.
