Rich has always been happy to help, passionate about what he does and loves a bit (or a lot) of banter. The club would not be where it is today without him and we are so grateful for everything he has accomplished for the Owls. We can’t thank him enough and he will be incredibly missed.
Long standing Vice-President of the Uni-Norths Owls Rugby Club, Richard Taplin, has stepped down from the club’s committee. The Club would like to acknowledge and thank Richard for the massive contribution he has made to the club over many years, as a first grader with more than 200 first grade appearances and more recently as a Vice President. The Owls recent success is due in part to Richard’s passion and drive to see the club succeed, both on and off the field. The Owls Rugby Club thanks Richard for his service.
