Uni Norths Owls formed in 2001 when 3 Clubs combined: (ANU and Norths, both established in1938 as foundation clubs in the Canberra competition, and University of Canberra established in 1971). Owls have an even mixture of student, ex-students & non-student players at the Club.

 

We currently have 8 Teams, 5 Men’s Grades, a Colts (U20s) side & 2 women’s sides (Premier XVs & W10s) playing in the Canberra competition. 

 

We are looking for new women to join one of the premier women’s rugby clubs in Australia club. We have had success at developing players to the highest level with a significant number of our players currently in the Brumbies Super W and Wallaroo squads. We also have a great cohort of players who love to play socially, particularly in the W10s competition.

 

So, come join us and give rugby a shot. You don’t need to have played any rugby before; enjoyment of sport generally and a willingness to give it a go is all that is needed. We have a great vibe in the club led by our two club captains, Emerina Marsh and Lachlan Conyers.

 

Preseason training will start mid-January 2025 and the competition commences on 12 April with the finals at the end of August.
