Owls Women’s 2025 Preseason Camp: Grit, Growth, and Great Times

The Owls Women’s Squad has wrapped up an unforgettable 2025 preseason camp, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead. The weekend was a perfect blend of challenge, camaraderie, and preparation, as the squad pushed their limits in the rugged beauty of the Australian bush.

This year’s camp took place at coach, Ziggy, and team manager, Katy’s farm in the breathtaking Brindabella Valley. The players tackled unforgiving hills—no, mountains!—testing their endurance and mental grit in the process. Every step up the inclines strengthened their resolve, forging the physical and mental toughness required for the demanding season ahead. Recovery came in the form of a refreshing swim in the pristine waters of the Goodradigbee River, a well-earned cool-down after the day’s exertions.

But it wasn’t all just hard work. The camp provided a unique opportunity for team bonding through an array of weird and wonderful activities designed to build trust, foster creativity, and deepen connections between teammates and staff. Whether it was problem-solving challenges, team-building exercises, or just sharing stories under the clear mountain skies, every moment contributed to a stronger, more unified squad.

Beyond the sweat, laughter, and sore muscles, the camp served its ultimate purpose—preparing the Owls Women for the battles ahead in 2025. The season is now within reach, and the squad is ready to take on every challenge with renewed determination and spirit.

Bring on the 2025 season—this team is ready to soar!
