The Uni-Norths Owls got their first real hit-out of the year on Saturday 7 March, with teams spread across multiple venues in a big day of trial rugby ahead of the 2026 season. In Canberra, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, Colts and the Women’s XV took on Gordon in valuable pre-season match-ups, giving players and coaches their first chance to test combinations and build momentum heading into the year. The Uni-Norths Owls Rugby Club is proud to announce Maddie Gogala and Oliver Wheatley as our Club Captains for the 2026/2027 seasons. Both the men’s ACT & SNSW Griffins and women’s ACT & SNSW Kestrels put on standout performances against Rugby Victoria in their final clashes at Brumbies HQ on Saturday evening.
