The Uni-Norths Owls Premier Women’s side delivered a commanding performance at ANU North Oval on Saturday, defeating the Canberra Royals 49–7 in Round 11 of the Bentspoke Premier 15s. The match was played as part of the club’s annual Pasifika Day, a celebration of the cultures, families and communities that form the heart of the Owls. Fittingly, the team wore their special Owls Pasifika jerseys, and the day also marked Emerina Marsh-Kiro’s 50th Premier Grade game for the club. The Uni-Norths Owls Premier Women have broken their long-standing hoodoo against the Tuggeranong ViQueens, coming from behind to claim a thrilling 27–22 win at ANU North Oval in Round 9 of the Bentspoke Premier 15s.
