Huge Finals Success Across the Club

It was a massive weekend for the Uni-Norths Owls, with the club turning up in force and delivering some huge results across all grades as finals footy kicked off. From the sidelines to the scoreboard, the energy was electric and the Owls community was out in full voice.

Our 1st Grade mens put in a stellar shift, clinching a spot straight into the Grand Final after an impressive qualifying final win. Joining them are our 3rd Grade side, who not only secured their ticket to the big dance yet again but do so as minor premiers, a well-deserved reward for their outstanding season so far.

On Sunday, our Women’s XV, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade teams all fought hard and came away with crucial wins in their elimination finals, keeping their premiership dreams alive. Those squads now head into the preliminary finals this weekend, one step away from booking their own places in the grand final.

Unfortunately, our Colts bowed out after a tough battle against Eagles, but they can hold their heads high after an incredible season. The growth, resilience and commitment shown by the group of young players has been immense, and they’ve set a strong platform for the future.

Beyond the results, the real highlight of the weekend was the crowd energy and community connection that makes this club so special. Families, friends, old boys, and die-hard Owls supporters filled the sidelines, creating the kind of atmosphere that gives you goosebumps. It’s what finals footy is all about and it’s what the Owls are known for. A huge thank you to everyone who came down to cheer on the teams. This club thrives because of you, the players, supporters, volunteers, and community who make the Owls family what it is.

We’re only getting started. One round closer. One club, one dream. Go the Owls!
