The Uni-Norths Owls are proud to announce that multiple members of the club have earned selection in the prestigious Brumbies City Men’s and Women’s squads, gearing up for the 2025 Capital Cup at Nicholls Enclosed.

The Capital Cup is one of the region’s most anticipated representative fixtures, showcasing the best local talent and serving as a springboard for pathways into higher honours.

Capital Cup Tournament Director Joseph Rollings praised the depth and quality across both City squads, highlighting the fierce competition among players from club-level premiership-winning sides.

On the Men’s side, nine Owls from our John I Dent Cup premiership-winning team earned selection, including skipper Sam Mickelson.

In the Women’s squad, our club also made a strong showing with a number of representatives in the City line-up also.

These selections underline the Owls’ strength across both men’s and women’s pathways, and reflect the club’s ability to develop high-performing athletes ready for representative rugby.
