The Uni-Norths Owls 2025 Bowls Day delivered a perfect blend of sport, camaraderie, and sunshine at The RUC in Turner on Saturday. With the weather putting on its best show, players, staff, supporters, and friends turned out in force to enjoy an afternoon of lawn bowls, refreshing drinks, and friendly competition.
The greens buzzed with activity as teams rolled their way through casual and competitive matches. Off the green, a classic boat race between Owls 1st years and Colts players that brought plenty of laughs and a touch of rivalry, with participants showing off their best chugging skills to the delight of the crowd.
A highlight of the day was the raffle, featuring an array of exciting prizes, some including representative playing jerseys, cartons of beer, and bottles of wine. Winners walked away with big smiles and some quality loot, adding to the festive atmosphere.
