Congratulations to Raevyn Dixon on 50 1st grade games! What an awesome achievement for one of our most reliable and hardworking players.

Raevyn is the ultimate quiet achiever. Always doing the hard work, always turning up for the team and never needing the spotlight. She just gets the job done and often in the moments that matter most. Over the ball she’s an absolute menace, constantly winning turnovers and shifting momentum. In defence she’s rock solid with those trademark chop tackles always bringing the opposition to ground – pretty impressive for the “smallest” forward on the paddock!

While predominantly a flanker, Raevyn has stepped up anywhere the team has needed her; second row, halfback, hooker, No. 8 and even out wide on the wing. No questions asked, just that same dependable attitude and effort every single time she pulls on the jersey.

She’s a player every teammate loves having beside them. Tough as nails on the field, but the first one to share a laugh and a cheeky red off it.

So cheers to you Rae, 50 1st grade games of hard grit and heart! Now let’s go out and get that W against the ladies in red!
