Old Owls Day 2025 – Rain, Rivalry and a Ripper Win
Old Owls Day 2025 went off with a bang last Saturday, with a packed Barn balcony and a sea of old faces braving the drizzle to celebrate the club’s proud past. Despite the weather, the spirit was high as players, alumni, sponsors and supporters came together for a day of connection, stories and on-field grit.
The day was made even sweeter when 1st Grade put on a show against West Lions, securing a gritty 28–14 win in front of the home crowd. With the full-time whistle, the boys belted out the team song on field, proudly wearing the special edition heritage jerseys honouring both Norths and ANU, as everyone joined in the chorus.
It was a proper celebration of everything Owls rugby is built on: mateship, history and heart.
