The Uni-Norths Owls Premier Women’s side delivered a commanding performance at ANU North Oval on Saturday, defeating the Canberra Royals 49–7 in Round 11 of the Bentspoke Premier 15s. The match was played as part of the club’s annual Pasifika Day, a celebration of the cultures, families and communities that form the heart of the Owls. The Uni-Norths Owls Premier Women have broken their long-standing hoodoo against the Tuggeranong ViQueens, coming from behind to claim a thrilling 27–22 win at ANU North Oval in Round 9 of the Bentspoke Premier 15s. After three weeks off due to a bye and wet weather cancellations, the Uni-Norths Owls Premier 15s returned to The Barn in Round 8 to take on the undefeated Wests Lions. In a physical and fast-paced contest, the Owls showed determination throughout but were ultimately outpaced by the visitors, going down 29–19.
