Uni-Norths Owls braved the wet and muddy conditions on Saturday as they took part in the Boorowa Rugby Festival. Despite the rain, the Women’s X, 3rd and 4th Grade, and Colts teams put in strong performances, making the most of the pre-season hit-out. The Women’s X side had a standout day, winning all three of their games. Uni-Norths Owls Women's and Colts kicked off their pre-season preparations with a strong showing against ADFA at Kapyong Oval, Duntroon, last night. Both the Women’s X and Colts XV teams took to the field under lights, delivering solid performances. The Women’s X side played three 20-minute periods and dominated throughout, controlling possession and applying consistent pressure to secure a convincing win. 2025 Owls Registration

Registrations are now open for 2025 players and volunteers. Registering gives you insurance cover for injury through Rugby Australia at season games, trail matches, training and the gym or as a volunteer working in the canteen or running a training drill. If you are not registered you are not insured. The player fee is $424. Please note that Rugby Xplorer provides the option of paying the fee by instalments. Apprentices and students will receive an $120 discount when registering if they seek a club discount from the Registrar via email at registrar@owlsrugby.com. Uni Norths Owls formed in 2001 when 3 Clubs combined: (ANU and Norths, both established in1938 as foundation clubs in the Canberra competition, and University of Canberra established in 1971).
