50 1st Grade Caps Madeleine Gogala
Uni-North Owls would like to congratulate Madeleine Gogola for her 50th 1st Grade match for our Women’s Premier 15s side. What a way to celebrate such a milestone in what will no doubt be a great Preliminary Final match vs Canberra Royals.
This weekend we celebrate an event of epic proportions, where our absolute utility of a forward (and winger on the 7’s pitch) Maddie Gogala celebrates her 50th 15’s game of her Owls rugby career.
After almost five years, countless unreported injuries and (borderline illegal) fends aplenty, Maddie has sealed her presence as one of the pillars of the women’s side. A real all-rounder, Maddie plays a myriad of different sports outside of rugby. If I was a betting person, I’d say her next career could be in gymnastics, after an impressive attempt at doing the splits mid-try during the Queanbeyan 7’s tournament earlier this year.
She’s a loyal friend, a force to be reckoned with, and a well-established member of the Owls family. If you think so too, find her after her match and give her a big hug – she’ll love it!
Congratulations on 50 games Mads – never change. We love you 🤍🏼
