Grand Final Weekend is here

Wow, what a season it’s been for the Owls. Eight teams (and enough players for a 6th grade side a couple of times), seven of them in the finals, and two of them move forward to the Grand Finals this weekend.

Congratulations to all players on a great season and especially to Women’s XV and 3rd grade
Womens 10s, 4th grade, Colts and 5ths all made the preliminary finals and 2nds the semis.

We’ve seen many, many players stepping up this season and new players abound including plenty in their first season of rugby. Clearly the coaching and managing has been excellent with better things to come next year.

The support from our sponsors has been sensational, our volunteers magnificent and what do you say about our incredible supporters !! Extraordinary !!

There are so many people to thank and the presentation night will be doing just that doing that on the 2nd September at the Canberra Rex. Buy your tickets here.

Viking Park this weekend

Viking Park is the place to be this weekend to support our 3rd grade side who are playing  Goul

burn (Kick off 11.40am) and our Women’s team who are playing against the ViQueens (kick off 2.10pm).

We’ll have three international players playing in the women’s team. Pesi Palu (centre) and Tanya Naden (hooker /No8) who play for the Walleroos  and Iris Verebalavu, who represents Fiji playing at Prop.

Thank you for being such great supporters of the OWLS this year and we look forward to bringing home two great premierships.
