Vale Gordon Scott
Sad news from another of the 1938 original clubs with the death of Gordon Scott.
Gordon was an Easts man through and through and was renowned amongst the clubs as a genial yet incredibly hardworking passionate rugby man.
Gordon, also an ACT representative, became the first player to play 300 games for Easts in 1984 and was awarded life membership of the club in the same year. Gordon also coached Easts under-18 to an undefeated season in 1987.
It was always a pleasure to bump into him for a chat and a thorough analysis of local rugby.
His brother Peter coached ANU 1st grade during the 80s and his nephews Ian & Gordon also both played for ANU 1sts.
