The Owls officially kicked off the 2024 season last night, welcoming sponsors, past players and friends of the community with a chance to view a training night from The Barn.
The evening was officiated by club president Dave Luchetti who acknowledged last season as one of the clubs strongest overall performances in recent memory. Indeed, season 2024 presents an exciting opportunity to build on the successes of last year where 7 teams make the finals, finally taking out 2 premiership wins with Women’s Premier 15s and Men’s 3rd grade.
Women’s head coach Ziggy Balmaks and Men’s 1st grade coach Lachie Creighton shared insights into their respective teams in a Q&A covering coaching, playing and competition developments. The group was then invited to view the club training session and team announcements heading into Round 2.
Lachlan Lawson was on hand to capture the evening with photos shared below. The club thanks attendees for their support on the evening and looks forward to another home game and Ladies Day this weekend.
