Milestones | Tait Caldwell & Will Sankey

Uni-Norths Owls would like to congratulate two great clubmen on their milestone achievements today. Welcome to the ’50’ club Will Sankey & Tait Caldwell.

William ‘2 Metre Peter’ Sankey, an unbelievable player on the field, and even better bloke off. I have been able to lace up with Sanks in an owls jersey on many occasions and am lucky enough to call him a close mate.  With a Macdougall medal to his name, super rugby experience, and now knocking on the door for more higher honours at the most successful Australian super rugby club, 50 Owls first grade caps is yet another arrow in his formidable quiver of rugby accolades and experience.

It’s been an absolute delight watching your rugby career blossom over the past couple of years, a testament to the hard work you have put in. Can’t wait to run out behind you this Saturday mate, there is no one more deserving of an honours cap.

Tait is a menace and we are damn glad for it. On either side of the ball Tait takes the game to the opposition and it’s his dedication to his team when things get tough that  lifts those those around him.

Off the field he is a great friend to have. He does anything for his mates, generous to a fault and will literally pick you up if you fall down, or are just trying to nap.
Congrats on the milestone  Tait-o you have heaps more great footy left in you!
