OWL’s Tongan Relief – Helping rebuild Kanokupolu

This year Uni-Norths Owls are fundraising to help the village of Kanokupolu in Tonga to rebuild their community hall.

In the early hours of the 16th January this year the Tongan village of Kanokupolu was destroyed by a Tsunami. Kanokupolu, the village of former ANU premiership player Falamani Mafi (father of Junior Mafi) was destroyed by this year’s tsunami. The club will run a number of fundraising events throughout the season with the major fundraising event taking place when the 1992 ANU premiership side has their anniversary lunch on 9 July. Please support this important effort.
